Orders & Delivery
How long does delivery take?
Standard UK delivery takes 3–5 working days. Express delivery (1–2 working days) is available at checkout. Orders placed before 2pm are dispatched same day.
Do you offer free delivery?
Yes! We offer free standard UK delivery on all orders over £50. For orders under £50, standard delivery is £3.99.
Can I track my order?
Absolutely. You'll receive a confirmation email with tracking details as soon as your order is dispatched. You can also track your order in your account dashboard.
Do you deliver outside the UK?
Currently we deliver across mainland UK. International delivery is coming soon — sign up to our newsletter to be the first to know.
Returns & Refunds
What is your returns policy?
We offer a 30-day hassle-free returns policy. If you're not completely satisfied with your purchase, simply contact us within 30 days of delivery to arrange a return.
How do I start a return?
Email us at hello@thebritishhomestore.com with your order number and reason for return. We'll respond within 24 hours with return instructions.
When will I receive my refund?
Refunds are processed within 5–7 working days of receiving the returned item. You'll receive a confirmation email once your refund has been issued.
Products & Quality
How do I care for my products?
Care instructions are included with every product. Generally, soft furnishings like cushion covers and throws should be washed at 30° on a gentle cycle. Decorative items should be wiped with a damp cloth.
Are your candles natural?
Yes — our soy candles are made from 100% natural soy wax with cotton wicks. They're free from toxins, paraffin and artificial dyes.
Do you offer gift wrapping?
Yes! We offer complimentary gift wrapping on all orders. Simply add a note at checkout and we'll take care of the rest. Perfect for birthdays, housewarming gifts and special occasions.

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex), PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Klarna Buy Now Pay Later. All payments are SSL encrypted.
Is my payment information secure?
Absolutely. Our store uses industry-standard SSL encryption and we never store your card details. All payments are processed securely through Shopify Payments.
